Choosing a size and frame
Measure the wall or shelf first. A print about two-thirds the width of the furniture below it tends to look settled. For a puja shelf or a narrow alcove, 8 × 10 or 12 × 16 inches is usually enough. Above a sofa or a console, 24 × 36 inches and up holds the wall.
Paper under a frame suits a small work you will see up close. Canvas has no glass, so it reads well across a room and in light from a window.
